First, thanks for the link [over at Eschaton] on the profiling of Dems. Here in San Diego three Dem City councilmen were targetted sucessfully and were removed from office. I was skeptical at the time,of the charges, and am now convinced they were part of the profiling.

Interesting view on Ms. Buchanan. You left out one point though. Ms. Buchanan held the position of Director of the Executive Office of US Attorneys (EOUSA) from 2004 to 2005 prior to Mike Battle. Mike Battle is the individual who resigned from the Attorney's Office allegedly because he would not go through with the politically motivated firings. You see, the Director of the EOUSA is responsible for disciplinary actions over US Attorneys including firings.
If there is some sort of agenda on these things, Ms. Buchanan may be closer to it than many think.
Still shocked that she has not been called before congress on this one.
