They Should Be Wearing Sheets

John Roberts. Antonin Scalia. Clarence Thomas. Anthony Kennedy. Samuel Alito. Your are a disgrace to the Supreme Court. You are a disgrace to my profession. You are RACISTS. Forget the robes. Just wear SHEETS. You have pleased the Klu Klux Klan. Join them now.

I never thought I'd see the day Brown vs. Board of Education was overturned. This will not stand. We will change it back. You have gained nothing. You think you are clever, that we won't catch on to your racism. It is true. You did not use the N-Word in your decision. You are racists all the same. You did not fool me or any other good people.

Go to hell - you bastards.

So don't do it.

Tena's New Blog

I've read some of Tena's new blog. Right message. WRONG messenger. She insulted me on Eschaton. She called me an "ignorant putz" one day and never apologized for it. I responded by never responding to any of her comments again. Now she has left Eschaton and has started a blog.

Fine. But don't start by saying Eschaton (The A-List blog she is referring to) was mean. She was mean. And she never apologized for it.

I'm Back - Sorry for the Lack of Updates

I'll be updating this sucky blog more often. I promise. Work overtook my free time for a while.

I found Richard Perle's son - Jonathan

Is he in the military? No. He was writing pro-war screeds at Tufts University in 2002. Here's a sample:

"It seems highly improbable that anything other than some form of direct military action will lead to change in the leadership of Iraq. US officials hope that Bush's declaration of an "axis of evil" will have a similar effect to Reagan's charge that the Soviet Union was an "evil empire." It will give courage and support to those inside the country who wish for a more democratic and liberal society."

He should sign up and saddle up. America needs him.

What is this Criminal doing on my Tee Vee?

Isn't he supposed to be in prison by now? Being passed around for a pack of cigarettes? Shouldn't we have a Senator or Congressman lean on a prosecutor to speed the trial up? I hear that can be effective. This man should not still be showering alone.

Wonder how they're doing now.

To give you a reminder that really stupid people voted for Bush in 2004, here's an article from the Washington Post from right after the election that made me throw up into my mouth a lot:

"It's really good to know our country had a decision to make, and there are so many people who feel this way," Cary says. "It's a victory for people like us."
.....
He is 29. She is 27. They have a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old and a 6-month-old, and they are thinking of having one more. They oppose abortion, favor a constitutional amendment that would define marriage as being between a man and a woman, and want more Supreme Court justices like Anton Scalia and Clarence Thomas. They eat at home and shop at Wal-Mart. They home-school their 5-year-old and are members of the nondenominational Church on the Rise, which is "committed to helping families hold down the family fort in the 21st Century," according to its literature, and where the senior pastor says 90 percent of the 1,200 congregants voted for Bush."

I feel the anger rising in you. Good... Good...

How to tell where your team will end up in the NCAA Bracket

The RPI Index. The selection committee relies heavily on this index to decide who gets in the NCAA Mens College Basketball Tournament. BTW, I went to Pitt. That's who I'm rooting for.

Here's one of the better pages with the index.

Remember - Gingrich member of group of "weirdos"

From the post-2006 election article of Dick Meyer of CBS:

"Really, it's just a simple thesis: The men who ran the Republican Party in the House of Representatives for the past 12 years were a group of weirdos. Together, they comprised one of the oddest legislative power cliques in our history. And for 12 years, the media didn't call a duck a duck, because that's not something we're supposed to do.

...

Yet none of these guys had success in capitalism. None made any real money before coming to Congress. None of them spent a day in uniform. And they all spent the bulk of their adult careers getting paychecks from the big government they claimed to despise. Two resigned in disgrace."

For those of you who forgot the article

Gingrich carried on affair for SIX years

From Scoobie Davis's blog:

"One has to keep in mind also that the American right was getting on Clinton's case about his sex life since the 1992 primaries. That's particularly galling considering that it was an open secret among DC politicos that Gingrich--the most important Republican from 1994 to 1998--was carrying on with the young blond House clerk twenty-three years his junior, Callista Bisek who would become Wife Number Three in 2000 (after, of course, ditching Wife Number Two). Washington insiders concluded that it was well know in DC that Gingrich and Bisek were having an affair which started shortly after Gingrich made the comment during the 1992 campaign that "Woody Allen having non-incest with a non-daughter to whom he was a non-father because they were a non-family fits the Democratic platform perfectly."

The rest is here:

Sister Mary Beth "Elephant" Buchanan

Here in Pittsburgh, we had a U.S. Attorney, now promoted to Washington for her slavish obedience to her Republican overlords, named Mary Beth Buchanan. She let her husband's Republican law firm off the hook for Enron style fraud, but saw fit to prosecute Tommy Chong for selling bongs over the internet.

Ms. Buchanan investigated local Democratic officials, namely, the Sheriff Pete DeFazio, the Coroner, Cyril Wecht, the mayor, Tom Murphy, and a County Judge, Joseph Jaffe. We now know it was part of a nationwide plan

Bastards.

WATB Alert - Federal Judges Whining about Inadequate Pay

One of the most out of touch segments of our society today are Federal Judges. Pay starts at $165,200.00. In addition, you have a job for life, you get your own paid for downtown parking space, your office staff is paid for, your opinions are written by top-flight law clerks, and everyone has to kiss your ass. The best part, if anyone pisses you off during your work day, you can send them to jail.

Can you beat that?

Apparently Justice Anthony Kennedy is complaining that Federal Judges are leaving because the job doesn't pay enough. WATB

Happy Birthday Elvis Presley

Today is Elvis' Birthday.

Here's some Elvis trivia: If you add up the numbers in the date of Elvis' death, 8, 16 and 1977 - it adds up to Elvis' theme song: 2001. Spooky.
